St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, 30 September 2025: The Police Administration is issuing a reminder to motorists concerning the persistent problem of illegal parking along Joseph Lane.

Despite repeated warnings and the installation of traffic signs and road markings prohibiting this unlawful practice, some motorists continue to disregard the regulations.

This behavior not only creates obstructions but also severely impedes the free flow of vehicular traffic along the route.

To address this ongoing issue, the police will be conducting increased traffic checks in the area. Any vehicle found parked illegally will be subject to ticketing and immediate towing at the owner’s expense.

The Police Administration appeals to all road users to comply with traffic regulations and cooperate fully with the authorities. These measures are being enforced to ensure safer roadways and smoother traffic movement for everyone.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda thanks the public for its continued cooperation in promoting safety and order on the nation’s streets.
