The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) Water Business Unit advises that upgrade and installation works are progressing along Cedar Valley Main Road.

On Sunday, 28 September 2025, the section between the Friars Hill Road junction and Old Popeshead Road corner will be closed to traffic between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Motorists are asked to use Old Popeshead Road as a detour to access Friars Hill Road or continue along Cedar Valley Road.

The project includes laying new transmission lines to connect with the soon-to-be-commissioned 2 MIG Reverse Osmosis Plant at Shell Beach.
