Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre: We know some of you have already noticed changes to the usual traffic flow at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and we should have given you a heads-up sooner. These adjustments are happening because we’re in the middle of installing our brand-new medical waste incinerator.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work through it. The good news? Everything should be back to normal by the end of this weekend — maybe even sooner.

This upgrade is a big deal for us all: a modern incinerator means safer, more efficient disposal of medical waste, better infection control, and a cleaner environment for patients, visitors, and the entire community.
