ST. JOHN’S, Antigua and Barbuda: The Ministry of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) officially launched the ArriveAntigua.com Portal to the Public.

The fully digital entry and departure system which is now mandatory for all individuals entering or leaving the country through V.C. Bird International Airport replaces all paper-based processes for international travelers and OECS passport holders.

Minister of Information, Communication Technologies (ICTs), Hon. Melford Nicholas, hailed the launch as a milestone in the country’s digital transformation agenda. He stated that the platform not only meets but exceeds the operational requirements of the Immigration and Customs Departments.

The initiative is part of Project OPTIMUS, a broader government effort to fully digitize public services. “Our goal is to ensure that every touchpoint between citizens and the government delivers a seamless digital experience,” Minister Nicholas explained.

This transformation is being developed collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Inland Revenue Department, the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority, Customs and Immigration, and technology partner Mr. Jeff Willemeyer.

ArriveAntigua.com also delivers real-time data capabilities, offering substantial benefits to the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Finance, allowing these agencies to make faster data-informed decisions.

Having undergone a pilot and phased rollout since November 2024, the system promises to create a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly experience for passengers.
