6:15 PM ECT FRI, MAY 16, 2025

The flash flood advisory has been cancelled for low-lying and flood-prone areas of Antigua and Barbuda. The latest analyses and observations indicate that no heavy rainfall has occurred in the warning area for over an hour.

The flood threat no longer exists but ponding of water on roadways may continue at a few locations as flood waters subside.

Remain cautious when driving in low-lying areas and report any flooded roads to the Met Office.

Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the situation. See your local forecast for details of the weather going forward.
