The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority wishes to remind members of the public to refrain from any kite flying in the restricted no fly zone for the V.C. Bird International Airport.

As the Easter Weekend approaches, the authority recognises that kite-flying will naturally increase.

But persons are equally asked to take note that such activities present a potential danger and hazard to aircraft on their approach or departure from the V.C. Bird International Airport.

The no-fly zone for kites includes Five Islands in the West, a portion of Cedar Grove in the north, as well as Piggotts, Osbourne and all immediate surrounding areas of the V.C. Bird International Airport.

Kindly see illustration for your guidance. Your cooperation on this important matter is truly appreciated. Do have a blessed and safe Easter.
