Antigua Barbuda Athletic Association (ABAA): In light of the concerns of parents due to current situation in the country (kidnappings), the ABAA in collaboration with coaches, hosted a Safety workshop for the athletes.
Present to address the athletes were Senior Sergeant Spencer and Inspector Morgan.
They both gave information and guidance to the athletes on safety measures, being aware of their surroundings, keeping themselves safe, and protecting each other.
The event was well attended by the athletes who were very interactive with the presenters.
Geron Henry of PSE and Aleemah Rhiney of SuperNova Athletics both presented appreciation tokens to the facilitators.
