The Project Implementation Management Unit within the Ministry of Works is alerting the public of emergency repairs at the junction of Sir George Walter Highway (Airport Road) and Old Parham Road on Saturday, 5th April, 2025.

NOTICE TO STAKEHOLDERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF EMERGENCY ASPHALT REPAIRS TO THE JUNCTION OF SIR GEORGE WALTER HIGHWAY (AIRPORT ROAD) AND OLD PARHAM ROAD (OPR), WHICH WILL CAUSE DELAYS AND INCONVENIENCE.

Special Notice is given that TODAY, Saturday, 5th April 2025, emergency repairs will be done at the Airport Road and Old Parham Road junction to improve the asphalt surface.

The regular operation of the traffic lights will be suspended and
the flow of traffic will be under the control of flag persons.

The general public is encouraged to follow all instructions to
ensure a cautious and safe passageway, as heavy-duty equipment will operate onsite.

This work will commence at 8 am and is expected to be
completed by 5 pm. Persons travelling to the Sir V.C. Bird International Airport should expect minor delays and adjust their travel time accordingly. C. O. Williams sincerely regrets the inconvenience.
