In anticipation of the 2025 Caribe Wave Tsunami Exercise, the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) is urging various agencies, departments, schools, organisations, and businesses to take part in this very important drill.
This yearly exercise is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 20th, at 11:00 AM and is designed to promote tsunami awareness and response.

Also, in the event of a tsunami threat to Antigua and Barbuda, the exercise aims to assess various aspects of national preparedness, including the communication systems.
Everyone is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to test some aspects of their various disaster plans, focusing on tsunami response, which involves people relocating to their designated safe areas if necessary.
