Akido McDonald, the Jamaican national who had escape from Immigration Authorities, has been recaptured.

Following an intelligence-driven operation between Police and Immigration officers on Saturday, the fugitive was successfully recaptured at a property in Swetes.

Two other persons, a male and a female, were also taken into custody. The Immigration Department is continuing its investigations, and it is likely charges will be brought against all three individuals.
