The Ministry of Health, Central Board of Health (CBH) would like to inform all current and prospective Food Handlers of important updates regarding the Food Handlers Training Course.

Please be guided by the following instructions:

  1. Registration: Food handlers wishing to enroll in the Food Handlers Training Course facilitated by the CBH must register in person at the Central Board of Health (CBH) located on Upper Church Street. Registration hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
  2. Required Documents:
    • New applicants must provide two (2) passport-sized photographs.
    • Individuals renewing their Food Handlers Badge must present their expired badge (valid from 2018 onward).
  3. Registration Fee: A registration fee of $50.00 is required at the time of registration.
  4. Missed Training Rescheduling: A rescheduling fee of $25.00 will be charged to anyone who misses their scheduled training session and wishes to rebook.
  5. Session Capacity: Each training session will be limited to 90 participants.

Training Venue and Dates:

  • Venue: Multi-Purpose Centre, Perry Bay
  • Time for New Applicants: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 7th November 2024
  • Time for Retrained Applicants: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Thursdays, 14th & 21st November 2024

Important NoticeNo children are allowed at the training sessions.

The Ministry of Health urges all food handlers to comply with these guidelines and attend their designated sessions promptly to avoid delays in receiving their badges.

Any Food Handler trained before 2018 who wishes to renew their badge must register as a new Food Handler. For further inquiries, please contact the Central Board of Health.
