The Sustainable Island Resource Framework (SIRF) Fund is pleased to announce the successful arrival of polycarbonate hurricane shutter sheets under the Climate Change Technologies and Just Transition of the Workforce (JTWF) Programme.

This milestone marks significant progress in the implementation of climate-resilient technologies aimed at bolstering the preparedness of communities across Antigua and Barbuda.

In addition to the hurricane shutter sheets, the SIRF Fund has confirmed that the air conditioning units, another essential component of the programme, are scheduled to arrive soon.

The Climate Change Technology and JTWF Programme, designed to support climate adaptation and workforce transition in small island developing states, is part of the national effort to build climate resilience and safeguard local infrastructure.

Applicants who have requested hurricane shutters will be notified via email of the arrival and are encouraged to review their respective invoices and complete payments promptly to ensure timely distribution.

Payment details will be provided via email, and individuals can choose from various payment methods, including Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Over-the-Counter (OTC) deposits.

Participants will receive additional instructions regarding the assigned distribution number, group, and collection date.
