STRATCOM MEDIA RELEASE: Saturday, September 7, 2024 – Police are continuing investigations into a fatal accident on Sir Sydney Walling’s Highway that resulted in the death of 24-year-old DeAndre Britton of Skerritt’s Pasture.
The allegations are that he was travelling from west to east on the said road when he apparently lost control of the Silver Toyota Brevis motor car he was driving.
The vehicle collided with a tree on the southern side of the road in the vicinity of Factory Cricket Grounds. The Jaws-of-Life was used to extricate the driver from the wreckage. He was pronounced dead at 5:51 am. The incident occurred around 4 am on Saturday, September 7th 2024.
Meanwhile, the police continue to appeal to drivers to be extremely cautious when driving on the roads, and to drive within the speed limits.
The Police Administration is also expressing condolences to the family of the deceased.
