Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF): On Sunday September 1st 2024 the Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force proudly marked its 43rd Anniversary with a meaningful service at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, led by Reverend Dr. Cuthbert A. Edwards.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests including His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda; Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda, the Honorable Gaston Browne; Commissioner of Police Mr. Atlee Rodney; members of Parliament and other notable dignitaries.
Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier Telbert Benjamin took to the podium to share inspiring remarks about the ABDF’s milestone, reflecting on a year of notable achievements and the ongoing commitment of the Force.
The congregation proceeded to enjoying a moving performance by the ABDF Band, whose musical talents added a special touch to the celebration.
The event concluded with a march past through St. John’s, a proud display of the ABDF’s dedication and unity. It was a day of celebration and gratitude as we honor the unwavering service of our members.
