Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF): Join us in celebrating the latest strides within the Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force. At a distinguished ceremony held today at Government House, four exceptional Officer Cadets, Jordane Mellanson, Jenelle Walsh, Billie Sterling-Lewis, and Sandra Betances were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, marking a significant milestone in their military careers.
This prestigious promotion, sanctioned by the Defence Board, underscores their dedication and prowess.
In attendance of this momentous occasion were, His Excellency, Governor General of Antigua & Barbuda, Sir Rodney Williams; Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, Ms. Joan Joseph; Commissioner of Police, Mr. Atlee Rodney; Senior Officers of the Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force; and family.
Additionally, Midshipman A Joseph has been promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade, with the honor of being pinned by Commander Jeremy Hansler of the US Navy and Major Jose Guillermo of the Honduran Air Force in Pensacola, Florida.
