As Tropical Storm Ernesto approaches, the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society (ABRCS) has taken proactive measures to ensure a swift and effective response.

The President, Dr. J. Humphreys, has partially activated our Emergency Operations Center (EOC), with a critical team on site to monitor the store.
This team is specialized in key areas such as EOC operations, communications, shelter management, community disaster response, logistics, search and rescue, and more. The team is ready to respond should the impact require intervention.

The ABRCS has secured its headquarters, verified the adequacy of our backup power supply, and ensured that all necessary equipment is fueled and fully functional.
Our dedicated volunteers have been briefed and are on standby, ready for possible deployment or activation as the situation evolves.

Throughout the storm, our phone lines will remain operational and accessible at (268) 462-0800. We are also available on WhatsApp at (268) 773-7526 to assist with any inquiries or emergency needs.
We urge everyone to stay safe, remain informed, and take the necessary precautions. The ABRCS is committed to supporting the community during this challenging time.
