Antigua & Barbuda Red Cross Society (ABRCS): The ABRCS received a donation of disaster relief supplies from USAID.

To commemorate this essential collaboration, the Honorable Sir Molwyn Joseph, Minister of Health and Wellness, Social Transformation, participated in the handover process alongside Dr. Jose Humphreys, President of the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Society, and Mr. Terry Morris, USAID Disaster Risk Management Specialist.

The Minister praised the ABRCS for its trailblazing efforts and lauded Dr. Humphreys for his distinguished leadership; describing the President as one of the brightest minds in Antigua and Barbuda.

Mr. Morris expressed similar sentiments, acknowledging the growing partnership between USAID and ABRCS and their collaborations particularly over the past two years.

The ABRCS President reaffirmed the National Society’s commitment to disaster resilience and recovery in our islands of Antigua and Barbuda.
