GIS Antigua & Barbuda: Commissioner of Police Atlee Rodney has met with the rank and file of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda ahead of the celebration of carnival 2024.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 with over 350 police officers in attendance. Commissioner Rodney addressed several internal issues concerning members dedication and commitment to duty.
He also touched the subjects of follow-up investigation; encouraged the officers to keep close relations with the public in particular the victims of crime.

The Police Commissioner also commended the officers for the excellent performance during the SIDS4 Conference and the ICCMen’s T20I World Cup.
Commissioner Rodney encouraged the police officers to play their part in making carnival 2024 a safe and successful celebration.

DCP Everton Jeffers and DCP Albert Wade also addressed the gathering on administrative and operational matters, while head of the fire department ACP Vivian Parker updated on the purchase of new fire tenders.
The meeting was also informed of the promotion of several police officers (details will be given subsequently)
