SIDS4 Antigua & Barbuda – The various pieces are falling into place as Antigua and Barbuda prepares to host international delegates for the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States, SIDS4.
The conference is benefiting from a major initiative that is being led by World Health Organization (WHO) and PAHO Caribbean. A Medical Outpost will be set up on the conference site at the American University of Antigua to attend to anyone who may need attention during the conference.
UN officials and other members of the Conference organising team were taken on tour of the facility during a visit by PAHO officials last week.
The Medical Post will be made available to other mass events that may require this level of emergency response. #SIDS4 is also putting on show the potential of our small states.
