ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, 12th April 2024 – The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) is pleased to announce its upcoming routine membrane maintenance replacement at all Reverse Osmosis (R.O) Plant Facilities.

As part of our commitment to operational excellence, the Water Business Unit has meticulously planned and scheduled this maintenance exercise.
Commencing on Monday, 15th April 2024, the anticipated duration for this essential maintenance is approximately ten (10) working days, barring unforeseen circumstances.

We expect a significant enhancement in our daily production
capacity, estimated at approximately 1.4 million imperial gallons upon completion of this maintenance period.
During the membrane replacement process, it is necessary to temporarily take the units offline, which will impact production and distribution.
As a result, customers may experience intermittent service, low supply pressure, or extended periods between service days.

We kindly request the patience and understanding of our valued customers during this maintenance period. Rest assured, our dedicated team is working diligently to minimize any inconvenience and ensure the continued provision of quality
services.
Thank you for your cooperation as we strive to maintain and improve our water supply infrastructure for the benefit of all stakeholders.
