St. John’s, Antigua – Wednesday 13th March, 2024: In recognition of World Kidney Day on March 14th, MOS Medical Services is proud to announce the release of its Public Service Announcement (PSA) aimed at raising awareness about kidney disease.

With a commitment to excellence in healthcare and a passion for community advocacy, MOS Medical Services is sounding the alarm on this pressing health issue.

Kidney Disease affects millions of individuals worldwide, yet it often remains misunderstood and overlooked. According to recent statistics, in 2023, over 120,000 dialysis sessions were administered to a patient population of 110 individuals with kidney failure in Antigua and Barbuda.

“Our mission at MOS Medical Services goes beyond providing exceptional healthcare services; it’s about empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being,” said Dr. Monica Osborne-Stevens, Family Medicine and Diabetes Specialist at MOS Medical Services.

“Through this PSA, we hope to ignite conversations, inspire action, and ultimately improve outcomes for those affected by Kidney Disease.”

The PSA, available for viewing on MOS Medical Services’ Facebook and Instagram pages starting March 14, 2024, aims to educate and raise awareness about the importance of kidney health.
