
Prices and Consumer Affairs Division – March 15 is World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD), an annual occasion for celebration, impact and global solidarity within the international consumer movement.

Each year, consumer organizations mark WCRD by joining together to highlight and raise awareness of an issue that is important to consumers around the world.
The theme this year is “Fair and Responsible AI for Consumers”.

To mark this event, the Division will be hosting a series of activities as follows:
Sunday, March 10th: Church Service at the Ebenezer Methodist Church at 8:30 a.m.
Monday, March 11th: Barbuda Day – Presentations at Secondary and Primary schools and Public Information Desk.

Tuesday, March 12th: Student’s Forum at 9 a.m. and Business Forum at 5 p.m. Both at Villa Poly Clinic
Wednesday, March 13th: Media Day
Friday, March 15th: Annual Awareness March at 10 a.m. starting at our office on Redcliffe Street.

To this end, we extend an invitation for the public to join us for these activities which would be a great learning
