SIDS4 Antigua and Barbuda – The international community rallied behind Antigua and Barbuda as it prepares to host the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States from May 27 – 30.
In an impressive show of support, several governments joined a SIDS4 Roundtable earlier today hosted jointly by the Permanent Mission of Antigua and Barbuda and the United Nations Office for Project Support (UNOPS).
Several countries were represented including India, the United Kingdom, Australia, China, Thailand, Norway, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan, the United States among a host of others.
They all expressed keen interest and support in the success of the conference and provided firm indication that their countries will be represented at very high levels during the historic gathering.
