National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) – A number of individuals came together at NODS for a four-day workshop to look at how the national disaster management’s public information and education programme can be enhanced.
The sessions, which ended Thursday, targeted members of the Public Information and Education Sub-Committee – one of the groupings established in the National Disaster Plan to assist in the various phases of the disaster management programme.
The workshop was sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID BHA), represented by Terry Morris.
