Fogging Schedule On Antigua November 20th to 24th 2023

The Central Board of Health (CBH) wishes to advise the general public that as part of the Mosquito Control Program for the adult Aedes aegypti Mosquito, the Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing 4:30am & 4:30pm

Monday 20th: Blue Waters area, Flag Staff, Lower Ottos, Nut Grove, Bathlodge, Bendals

Tuesday 21st: Hodges Bay, Royal Gardens, Jabberwack area, Seaview Farm, Freemans Village, Gunthorpes, Lightfoot West

Wednesday 22nd: Ceder Grove, Mount Pleasant, Longfords, Pigotts, Paynters, Fitches Creek, Weirs Estate

Thursday 23rd: Ceder Valley, Cassada Gardens #7, St. Johnsons Village, Sutherlands, Skerritts Pasture, Carnival Gardens, Upper Gambles & Camp Site

Friday 24th: Barnes Hill, New Winthorpes, Carlisle

Please take note of the following:

• Persons with respiratory illnesses are kindly asked to take the necessary precautionary measures.

• Motorists are kindly asked to take caution

• In the event of inclement weather, such as rain or high winds, fogging will not be performed. Fogging will then resume on the next available day until the areas are completed.

• Residents are also encouraged to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes on their premises and to protect themselves from mosquito bites.
