The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services (ABMS) is reporting that the hurricane warning issued for Barbuda has been discontinued.

However, strong winds are expected to continue for a few more hours for the northernmost Leeward Islands. On the forecast track, the center of Tammy will move further away from the islands later today.

Showers and thunderstorms are still expected across the islands even as the core of Hurricane Tammy moves away.
