At 500 am, the centre of Tropical Depression Six was located near latitude 16.8 north, longitude 52.9 west or approximately 588 miles east of the Leeward Islands and 778 miles east-southeast of the British Virgin Islands.

The depression is moving toward the west near 15 mph, and this general motion is expected to continue for the next day or so.
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph with higher gusts. Some gradual weakening is expected, and the Depression is forecast to become a remnant low early Monday and dissipate soon thereafter.

Based on the recent analysis, Tropical Depression Six is anticipated to dissipate later today, hence no watches or warnings are required for the Leeward and British Virgin Islands. Residents are still advised to monitor the progress of Tropical Depression Six until it dissipates.
