Antigua and Barbuda National Park – A few weeks ago, the NPA team collaborated with the Environmental Awareness Group (EAG) to relocate an ailing Green Sea Turtle named Humpty.

This particular turtle had suffered an injury from a boat strike a few years ago, resulting in a distinctive hump on its back.
Unfortunately, this hump has become a significant hindrance for Humpty, severely impacting its quality of life.

We urge marine stakeholders to abide by the 4-knot no-wake rule within harbours, aiming to minimize the potential harm inflicted on these incredible creatures.
By adhering to this rule, we can significantly reduce the chances of further harm and protect the well-being of these magnificent sea turtles.
