Central Board of Health (CBH) – It was just around 10pm when the curtains were drawn bringing the 2023 Carnival festivities to an end.

As the patrons, revellers, onlookers and vendors cleared the streets the true magnitude of the work to be done was realised.

Armed with their rakes, shovels, brooms, gloves, and garbage bags (white for recycling and black for all other garbage) the workers of CBH dived in head and hand first determined and resolute to rid the city of the generated litter.

By approximately 3am on the 9th of August just mere hours after the conclusion, the streets were cleaned as though nothing had happened.

The Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) was not left out and so after the streets were cleaned, Carnival City was tackled.
