Regional Security System – The Regional Security System (RSS) facilitated the transportation of 1000 cots from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Dominica yesterday, ahead of the arrival of Tropical Cyclone Bret to the Lesser Antilles.
This came following a request from the Office of Disaster Management (ODM) in Dominica, through the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA).
The cots were loaded onto the Barbados Coast Guard Trident vessel at the Kingstown Cruise Ship Terminal for shipment to the Dominica Coast Guard Base.
