Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) – CDEMA hosted Exercise REGIONRAP to test the Emergency Telecommunications plans and procedures in accordance with the Regional Emergency Telecommunications Plan.
The exercise featured 31 participants from all 19 Participating States, Regional Amateur Radio Operators, some UAV/Drone Operators in the region and Regional Security System. Exercise Region Rap is supported by the Targeted Support to CDEMA Project
The participants came together to address a scenario where multiple earthquakes have caused increased activity from 3 volcanoes across the region. They were tasked with monitoring activities, threats and impacts, and reporting to CDEMA.
