The Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda in its weekly report has taken note of the number of traffic accidents on the recently resurfaced smooth roads including Friars Hill Road and Sir George Walter Highway.
The Cabinet wishes to remind drivers that accidents can cause death, serious injury and the destruction of property. It further reminded drivers that driving above the speed limit is an offence.
In joining with the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) the Cabinet is making a plea to the public to provide blood to the recent victims of car accidents and to the blood bank, especially O- and A- blood.
